I can drive either. I don't think I would be disappointed either way, but my only concern is her driving it.. Especially when she parks

get your car for yourself. Pick w.e you want and just tell her not to drive it too much if you do get dct. & than go buy her something nice.

This.

"Oh, I think I may have rubbed it on the curb a little. You can fix that, right?"
"I parked it by the cart collection point, one got away from someone and hit the back panel thingy."
"I was going to park and I think I heard a scraping noise from the front bumper when I got right up on the curb. Youre not mad are you?"
"Its only melted chocolate on the seat, itll come off."
"I opened a soda and it sprayed on the inside roof liner thing."
"Wal-Mart 87 is ok, right?"

I'm lucky if I get told anything at all. I once came home from a business trip to a huge yellow scrape on the front air dam. Not a single word about it

I hear you bud, trust me! My ex-devil-wife screwed up my tranni sync rings on one of my car's once. Get what you want, lay down the law or hide the keys. But remember, an M3 cost a hell of alot less than a divorce...not that I'm saying she will divorce you for not letting her drive your M car, but I'm just saying. lol

Good luck man!

LOL! I'm more car crazy than my husband so I never understood this..... I keep my cars pristine, and have never curb rash'd a wheel.

OP, maybe it's because your wife has that Cayenne. If she liked stealing your smaller, more nimble 328, she's going to love stealing your M.

I'm going to sound super sexist, and I'm a woman, but if she won't take care of your M, get the stick!

Haha so I left the thread open on my Mac and she was reading it, then asks me: "can you believe someone would actually do something like that?"

Not only did I get a manual transmission to keep my wife out, but also got the coupe so my three kids can't be in back at the same time. Next project is to partition the garage and lock the side the M will live in

Guess I have that 1%. I do that to my M and I will never get to drive it. Mine had me put Borla Stingers on her Vette. Loved it.

Am I doing too much evil thinking in not letting my wife drive it, or just get automatic and roll with the punches?

I\'d appreciate some input from you guys.

Thanks
