My Updated Collection

I've taken a break from pro detailing for the past month and I've had time to rearrange all of my detailing equipment. The M3 is a complete mess right now, but I'll be doing a big write-up about the overhaul it's going to get. Until then, I wanted to share (read: gloat) the collection of detailing equipment I've amassed lately. If anyone has any questions about the purpose of any of the tools shown, feel free to ask.

Some of you might be wondering what the black box on the left is. That's the first prototype of a new wax from Chemical Guys that I'm testing called 'Core'. It's meant to compete with the likes of Vintage and Divine and will be in a similar price range.

That's a very organized collection with a very complex filtering system. Its your water really that bad? Can you please explain the system I would love to hear about it, Thanks

The system right now goes like this: RO filter -----> water softener -----> water deionizer. This order also goes from least expensive to regenerate to most expensive. Water deionizing pellets are either expensive to replace or cumbersome to regenerate. Our water hardness is above average, but still bad enough to leave water spots on a car's finish if not properly dried.

I got the cabinet from Sears: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00915341000P

The extractor is a Mytee Lite II 8070. Great suction capabilities and a reservoir big enough to handle plenty of carpet area. I have such a big air compressor because I wet sand entire exteriors fairly frequently w/ an air sander.
