Why people leave M3

Hi,

Not sure if these people would still be on this forumn, but thought I would ask anyway. Why do people Leave M3s. Finances, Getting bored, not satisfied, or wasn't what you thought it would be. I am most worried about the latter. The M3 has such a reputation, and wondering if that is part of what sells the car, and then when you get in it, it is not all that you imagined it.

Would have made it a Poll, but not really sure how to do it.

Thanks

Most people I know who love cars love all "cars". If you are like me, I will lust after a car and when I have had the chance to have her for awhile, I get an itch to try something else... normally better unless finances preclude. Some guys are like this with women too Moving on isn't about not liking the car I have most times... it is about wanting to experience something knew the next. You know, brunette this time, blonde next... maybe throw a redhead in there My next car will be the F3x M3 likely but who knows...

+3. And I'll add because BMW won't ever give us the CSL or GTS IR something close to it, like a GTS with the same engine we have now. That would take away their main argument of it cost too much to Federalize the engine... but Porsche can do it all the time.

This car has essentially no issues compared to the 335.

+1 non warranty work can be $$$

but a well maintained car would last a while, unless it was plagued w/ problems from the beginning...aka lemon.

It's not the 'annoying' part that concerns me . The main reason I'll probably sell it before warranty expires is due to complexity, when not even dealers know what's wrong, so that could become a money pit in a hurry. And yes, I thought was going to be quieter on the highway, which was a disappointment.

I never understood how m3 owners make the switch to the gt3. For one it's not even close in the same price range and it's no where near of being a daily driver.

Now a GTR I can understand a bit more for those making a switch to that.

As others have said, it's to try something different. I love Porsches, but the M3 is the best dd for me. Also, I prefer the DC-T, to the PDK.

This is easy. cuz we all love cars, right? Why did you upgrade from your last car? I went from a Jetta VR6 to WRX to STi then Evo X. Now trying to make the move to an M3. Always getting better. We all all want the latest and greatest or at least an upgrade from what we currently have.

It's a vicious cycle!

Variety is good, even if the newer car is slower.
