Removing Side vents?

Anybody know how to remove the side vents? I tried searching but came out empty......

I removed mine and painted them gloss black like the trim, you have to pull up, start with the side closest to the door and pull up, it's hold by tabs, you have to pull hard by the way, don't be afraid I pulled HARD and nothing broke, this is how mine looks

Pinch slightly while pulling, there are release clips behind the fender.

did u paint them yourself or did you have it professionally done?
i need them black as well to match the black grill

Not if the chrome is stripped properly. We will have our own Matte Black versions soon.

You have to sand the chrome away, I sanded with 1000, and finished with 2000, if you don't sand it won't look good and the paint will come off.

i sanded with 220 and 800
