Slight jerk at stop when in gear

Hi all,

I tried searching for the answer here, but after an hour of no results I figure I'll just ask.

What's happening is that I feel a slight jerk when coming to a stop. I even hear a sound like the brake squeaks (can't say for sure it's the brakes) just before halting.

A couple observations:

I can come to a smooth stop if I shift into neutral first.
Also, the squeak seems to go away after the car is warmed up, but the slight jerk at stop is still there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

all that jerking happened to me yesterday while coming at a stop and stopping, first time it's ever done that in the month that i've had it...so I had the GTS DCT transmission flash done this afternoon, hopefully that's the answer

I'm more concerned about the sound. It almost sounds like the brake disk squeaks at the moment of the jerk. Do you think that jerk would cause the brake to slip and squeak?
