The speed limits are too low in the Police State of Ontario
Actually I have about 1600 kms on it and everything is very good, only 1 problem with static on the speakers when using the CD player.I am really enjoying this car! |

EDC Malfunction- 2 Front shocks "seem" to be shot after 400 miles. BMW Engineering in the process of finding a solution. Car is still driveable but very rough.

I don't have one - that's the only problem I've encountered so far.
I hope the EDC doesn't prove to be problematic and this is just a hiccup because I want it. |

comfort access not responding all the time. There is a delay most of the time and at times, I would actually need to take the keyfob out to press the unlock button to get into the car. Will be taking it in to the dealer soon to see what the fix is.

My settings were reset twice in two weeks for no reason: units, M button, seat, etc. Very annoying. And yes, I've been using the same key fob since I bought the car.

You sit in your car and temp is displayed in units you did not chose and MDrive settings are all off from what you set them to previously, etc...

Lucas, I read your thread over on m3forum. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Did your dealer trace the source of the leak? With the engine floorpan, it will be hard to diagnose at home without a lift. I think this is the most serious of all the issues. BMW USA - you watching this thread?

Just some oil from the cap correct? Are you getting any oil on the bottom? Has the drive quality been affected?

No to both. In fact, the oil level is still perfect and you only see the leak because its somewhat around the oil cap and it dries before it gets to the bottom of the engine, so it is one of those things that are difficult to notice unless you clean your engine and/or open the hood.
