My sedan was delayed 5 weeks because of the 19" wheel debacle. I'm still scheduled for Week 14 production. I'm hoping they've caught up with demand at this point.

If your car is built early in April (hopefully, mine will be), I would expect by mid-May based on my prior experience with ordering...4-6 weeks.

I ordered with 19's, placed the final order 2 weeks ago and my car is already on its way to me...
DCT as well. So really no delay, and I ordered all the "delay" options

Lucky you! I'm week 19 (first week of May) and I ordered two weeks ago.

Ordered mid-Feb w/19's and it's on a boat already so doesn't seem to be an issue. I asked my sales guy explicitly about the 19's when I ordered and he said there was no problem at that time. Seems to be panning out.

I think the 19" wheel delay was only for Feb production. No delays for March production of 19s.

Agreed, but this type of poor planning isn't isolated to BMW.

My wifes Escalade was delayed due to her need for the 22's.

I hope the 19" wheel issue is over now. I was delayed five weeks originally--and now my car is in production about one week earlier than expected. I have a VIN now and should be completed by 4/1/08.

SSII, Black leather, M3 sedan, loaded
