How much will this tax be for the new M3?

I think I remember it being about 3k.......which means a well equipped M3 at about 66k will be 69-70k with the tax.........ouch.....

We don't know the EPA test results yet, but my guess is it won't be more than that for the E46, which was $1,300. BMW claimed an 8% improvement compared to that car, but we don't know under what conditions, and certainly not for the EPA test. The M5/M6 tax is at $3,000, so it for sure be less than that.
