My apologies Bastet, I've obviously confused you with another of your fellow European enthusiasts on the forum. Probably member Champagne, as he seems to have a popular thread right now.

However, we ordered the winter tyres when we had the delivery date so that the winter tires could be put on straight away. And summer tires are waiting for summer at the dealers so we'll get them in couple of months. Or whenever the summer decides to come here.
Very nice of your dealership. Hopefully he gave you a nice discount on the tires/wheels also. I imagine that MSRP is quite high on those in your neck of the woods.

Thanks. Yes, I did see your note in your earlier post about tire size, and in fact it was specifically because you listed only one size that led me to ask you to clarify that both wheels were also of the same size.

These wheels appear to be designed specifically for winter use then. It seems as though BMW is promoting 18 wheels for that purpose, even if 17 wheels would possibly fit (although I don't know if they would or not). There was a thread earlier about this, perhaps I'll add a response with this information.

Anyway, thank you. I believe you are the first person to discover and own these OEM wheels on this forum.

Well... Don't know if what you mean is that winter tires are in the option list while ordering... But I just told the dealer that I wanted winter tires as well and then I got winter tires on the 18" (which are included in the base price) and the 19" (which I did choose in the options list) for the summer tires.

NIce! I have this combo on my e46 M3. the silver interior makes a big difference in keeping the inside cool. black on black is death in the CA sun, but the silver is fone.

I am going for Jet B with silver or bamboo.

more interior pics please?

What I meant by "in the option list" was, were they available as "factory option"? Reason I asked is because options ordered from the factory are typically less expensive than dealer installed "accessories" - at least here in the US. I just wondered if you guys had the ability to get those snow tires/wheels when you purchased the car at a price that is better than what any joe off the street would get if he came in and ordered them out of the catalog.

No problems mkoesel, Finland and Sweden are neighbours anyway and Champagne, the true Viking, has already replied anyway.

In Luxembourg you can't order the winter tires directly from the factory so the price is actually higher than aftermarket winter tires. I know thoooooorgal got aftermarket tires for his car and he paid roughly 1000 eur less than we did.

Great thread, it's amazing the type of comments that roll back and forth. I can attest to the whole debadging thing in Europe. Have seen tons of cars in Germany w/o badges. For those that know the brand like anyone who is on this forum, it's a no brainer. I can instantly gauge people's BMW knowledge by telling them I traded in a ZHP for my 2008 E92. A deer in the headlights look is what I get most of the time, which is cool, cause that makes knowing and breathing this stuff that much more sweet!
I have the same car as the originial posting guy. 2008 JBM E92, and can tell you it is such a sweet color. The one thing that sucks with JBM is that the paint is very finicky. Fart by this car and it leaves a mark, I'm not kidding. Bird Ass Bombs destroy the paint, even when cleaned off and polished within an hour of the teradactyle attack. I am still trying to remove etching on my hood. My ZHP was Imola Red and I never had this problem. for a $70,000 car you'd think they'd make the paint a bit more durable. Afterall, BMW's spend more time in the paint shop during production than anywhere else in the process... okay, enough rambling..
