Anyone know how to remove footwell module ?

My footwell module is shot, anyone have a DIY link or know how to remove it ? I've searched but no luck, tia.

2 phillips screws hold the cover in place:

1 on the cover itself
1 on the hood release latch.

Once the screws are removed, pull the cover back - you'll see the FRM in plain view.

To add to this, the FRM is up in the top left corner (by where your left foot would be on the dead petal, and to the left). It's slightly a pain to get that top plastic bolt, but if you loosen it and remove the bottom one, it will slide right out.

if you need a used FRM mated to your car permanently, let me know. Not sure what the reason is for you playing with it, but I assume an FRM to FRM2 or FRM3 upgrade

Edit: Why would your footwell module be shot? I have not seen one go bad before..

multiple lights stop working at the same time, p/s front and rear signal corner is out, d/s corner is out. I did some research and it seems to be the frm, i'm using a frm3 from my friends M3 to test it out first, if it is I will contact you for the frm

(Make sure to check all fuses too just as an extra measure)

Hi,

E90 318i i have indicator issues - hazard lights flash at correct speed but indicators flash 120 times per min, could this be a control module as the car says faulty bulbs
