Bumper got bent a little, and the bottom of it scrapped up really bad

My revinora lip turned into 8 pieces... but it helped save my bumper lol

body shop used heat etc to unbend my bumper (plastic bumpers FTW), but you can kind of tell... but no biggie really. it's not as bad, and I don't feel like paying for a respray.

they had to replace 2 under carriage pieces that broke

I'm getting the car back tomorrow

Then I'm going to have the suspension checked.

if it's all good to go, I'll be taking it to the track again on saturday. if not, I'll take the Z4.

I don't think there's any suspension damage as when I drove home from willow (about 100 miles), there was no shimmy, no vibrations, no veering one way, no issues whatsoever (well, other than the under carriage hitting bumps lol)

I had to keep the remaining under carriage pieces up with tape and zip ties until i got it to the shop.

Well, I tend to brake late and hard rather than early and gradual...which is what I've experienced produces faster lap times and overall a better drive.

but the issue with this is...if you miss the braking point by a 10-20 feet or so... then yeah you go off

so yes there was driver error but that wasn't all of it

my brakes faded horribly.
I'm not too surprised..it was my 7th or so session that day, and I was running quite a number of laps
so the car (brakes tires driver etc) were all worn down

It was towards the end of the day, and I knew I only had this session and maybe one more left to beat my lap time..so i got arrogant.

My next mod is going to be a BBK 100%.
I was actually looking to get a supercharger by Spring time, but I rather use the money now for a BBK.
I need to get it before Auto Club end of January. I don't want to be driving at 150mph and worry that my brakes won't stop me; power is meaningless when you already have over 400bhp.

Other than being a bit depressed and down...and annoyed at myself, I'm fine.

I've been told numerous times I did the right thing and slowed down in a straight line and went off straight..rather than try to make the turn and risk going off sideways (flip.....)
but I do wish I just braked 10 feet sooner.. o well, it is what it is

Sorry to hear.

It looks like you took a lot back from the experience so I am sure you're better for it.

Plus... i just don't have money to spend at the track. Maybe in January cause i'll be getting paid on the 10th.
