This was a great episode of Top Gear. Entertaining reviews, really funny "news" segment, and The Stig driving a radio controlled G-Wizz was hilarious. The 3-way between the M3, RS4 and C63 was excellent entertainment, interspersed with truths and facts. Top Gear reviews are rarely didactic; more they paint an impressionist picture around the most outstanding feature (the "M Button" on the M5 review was a classic example).

For Clarkson to conclude (about the M3) "what a car, what a masterpiece" is enough for me. He can say what he likes about "M3 drivers", BMWs "cocks" and "car clubs" for entertainment value, but that conclusion (as a new and biased M3 owner) is the measure of the man and his consistency. I think he should be listed as a world heritage site. I love him (in a purely blokey and kindrid spirit sort of way).

Call me sad but I keep replaying these two quotes over and over....

"What a car. What a masterpiece"

"...all absolutely brilliant"

Great review, and the more I think about it I think I plan on having both the MB C63 AMG and the M3. The e92 M3 will be the weekend car and the MB will be the daily driver. Either way, I think these are all great cars........each is the winner for what it does best.

That was an incredible video. I've never really seen Top Gear before. Seen 5th gear and some others on YouTube but I'll definitely be looking for more Top Gear stuff.
And it was awesome to see the M3 victorious.

Thanks for posting those, Jason.

Those are the best and most convincing reviews yet.

M3 is still king.

The watch is not part of "the show". Is the watch that Clarkson always use.

Jeremy Clarkson has always hated BMWs. For some very silly reasons. But thats why I prefer his reviews - cos he comes off as a more knowledgeable version of one of the guys. Its more than just numbers. He talks about a car with passion and shows that driving is more than just numbers and gas mileage etc. He brings a real emotional element to cars which most other reviewers never seem to capture.

I agree with u about his enthusiasm about cars and how great he reviews them in depth, however, he loves BMW's. If you watch his review of the M5 and M6 (the M6 was compared to the 997 Carrera S and and Aston Vintage) you will see what i mean. the only thing he likes about mercs is the engine noise from their AMG's. Personally, i think Merc's are over rated and therefore i hate them.
