Small Piece of Plastic Broken in Footwell (pictures)

Hello folks, thanks for the great feedback on the car!

Anyway, I'm 6'7" and you might wonder how I fit in the E92 but I actually can't reach the wheel when the seat is all of the way back! My feet on the other hand are of issue. I wear big ass 14s and while I prefer my driving Pumas I sometimes have to drive with combat boots for drill.

The length of my shoe is greater than distance from the floor to the top of the footwell and I believe that I may have inadvertantly broken this piece of plastic (below). The service rep said he would look into it.

I don't care that much but my shoes now sometimes getting stuck between the pedals and that newly made "hole" in the ceiling of the footwell. This makes shifting harder. Also can I just cut out that insulation?

Thanks!

Below is the piece of plastic. Yikes I need to vacuum. I just did on Sunday night.

Exhibit 2 is the former location of said piece. If you look closely you can see the outline of former plastic piece in the insulation which is now hanging down.

Here's a wider shot

Any idea how much that would cost me? I'm guessing like $300 haha

Find the color that's applicable to your car and enter the part number here:

It's Tischer's (an E90post sponsor) site; pm Jason or Evan to buy the part
