Or just not listing the photographer in the poll so outsiders who didn't see the contest thread don't make a biased pick based on who submitted a photo.
has potential.... i'm just worried about what happens if we keep changing and updating rules consistantly... how many people will continue to be on board...

i'm good to try anything. But don't know if others will be in the same state of mind.

I think we've all come to the conclusion that this forum-based photo contest sucks ass because it doesn't allow us the flexibility that we need/want.

That being said... the winner is Judd?

i think people just need to relax, and just do it for fun, exactly what it's meant to be.

it's an online forum, and it's free to the public, you're always going to have to deal with someone or something, that's just the nature of it.

if we were entering the contest expecting to win some money or get a prize, then i could understand frustrations, and i would be right in the mix complaining about the lacking features and such.

for those who have to cheat, why is it so important to win? and win something that doesn't pay to win.

don't you feel less capable because you have to have others help you to win?

The rules do allow it - it just seems wrong. No reason why the rules couldn't be amended though.

Re voting / submission of entry et al - just keep it the way it is for me.

Judd, congrats... let's move on. Pick a new theme and post it sometime today. New contest submission should end at midnight PST on 4/10.

Dont have time to format and post it myself today, but my ideas:

-Portrait of a Couple in Love
-photo of your childhood (something that exemplifies your feelings/exp during your childhood/adolescence)

Thoughts?

Forget the portraits. It's too limiting. (Not for you, I suppose, but we all aren't as lucky to have an available model(s).)

"Portrait" doesn't necessarily mean a "sitting". I think it has more to do with the pose as to whether it's a portrait or not. He can make his on rules and I hope that he goes back to mulitple votes so that we don't get another tie.

Yeah I mean portraits in the sense that it is clear the subject of the photograph is the couple.

I hope there's room for some interpretation.
