1M or Supercharged M3?

O yeah tough one.

A stock 1M vs a supercharged, modded M3.

Hmmmmm

I think this comparison goes best with 1M v. GT-R, since both would be priced about the same coming out of a dealer brand new.

And of course, I'd pick GT-R....

OMG that is f'ing hilariousness! Why would anybody go for that?! And the dealer isnt too smart calling their mark up "markup". The could have used a term like "limited quantity fee".

This just has to be a joke. If I owned that dealership, I would be embarrassed to sign in the window of one of my cars. That just screams "we are all about money and will screw you to make more of it if we get the chance".

Did anybody call them yet?

This is what SA told me after he spoke to his manager, about my $54,000 cash offer and mark up.

BMW made few hundred of 1M (700), there are circumstances, the management made a decision. But its not about the price, make me an offer over MSRP and we will talk, i will take $10k over MSRP. Its a collectors car, so if thats the car you want, you will have to pay the price. Blah blah blah, etc etc.... Leave me your phone number and i will try to work with you...

I guess it only takes 1 dumb ass with too much money to go for it in order for the dealership to win. I really hope that doesn't happen. I would hate for someone to walk off the lot 50k upside down on a car.

Yeah that's them

I like their service, not their sales.

They tried to lease me an e93 for $1200/month when everywhere else was in the 700-800s...

I thought BMW only made 300 1Ms?

So... with 1 phone call you were able to drop that 40k markup by 30k? There's no doubt he realizes that asking 94k for a 1M is absolute bullshit... I really hope you weren't even taking the 1M into consideration at that price Persian, u would have been straight up hustled.

I wouldn't buy the car even if they sold it to me for $55k OTD

If I was going to spending $55k right now, I'd look for a used GTR, or better yet an Ariel Atom

Im not interested in 1M, i called them just to see what kind of BS answer they would give me out of my personal curiosity. And i called him on their BS mark up price, told him that no one in their right mind would pay for a car at MSRP price in the first place.

Thats when he started to give me all these lame excuses why the car has a $40k mark up.

Why would any one pay 90k for a 1 series BMW.. M or RS or AMG or Scuderia version doesn't matter.. It is a freaking 1 series bimmer.

But the dealer is right. It is a collector's car. But in this scenario, you are not the collector. It is the dealer. They are collecting fools' money.

Nope so many dealers say 300 so they can get away with charging mark up and what not. The numbers around 800 in the US, 450 in uk and so on.

Back in the day i heard Pacific charged DOUBLE MSRP for the z8's when they came out.
Straight up ridiculous
