I've decided to upgrade to an E92 M3 and need to sell my M3 track car. Here is a list of mods:

Suspension and Drivetrain:
TC Kline Double Adjustable Koni coilovers with 500/550 springs, mono ball rear mounts and front Camber/Caster adjusters. Rear trailing arms have TC Kline delrin bushings. TMS rear adjustable camber arms. TMS front sway bar. Treehouse Racing front “eyeball” arms. TMS solid aluminum rear sub-frame bushings and diff mount. Dinan 3.91 limited slip differential. Sub-frame mounting points were also reinforced. BMW front shock tower brace. Transmission and clutch replaced by dealer at 36,000 mi.

Brakes:
Brembo 4 piston Big Brake Kit with floating rotors up front. Brembo rear upgrade caliper kit with stock rotors. Goodridge braided lines all around. PFC 01 brake pads up front, 97s in the rear.

Engine and exhaust:
Dinan non-intercooled supercharger kit. Dinan high flow throttle bodies. Supersprint non-stepped headers. Rogue Engineering Rasp Pipe. Modified Supersprint X-pipe. Borla 3" Pro XS muffler. Transmission and differential cooler with separate electric pumps and filters. Dynoed and tuned by Fall-Line Motorsports.

Body/Aero:
EvoSport/Vorsteiner front race bumper with integral splitter and under pan. MA Shaw GTR hood. MA Shaw CSL rear deck lid. Aeromotions wing.

Wheels/Tires:
D-Force LTW-5 18x9.5 wheels all around. Pirelli Grand Am Series 285/645x18 race slicks.

Safety:
Four point roll bar installed by Fall-Line Motorsports. Recaro SPG Profi XL seats (2) with sliders. Schroth 6 point harnesses. VAC adapter plates. MOMO steering wheel.

Miscelaneous:
The interior has been completely removed except for the dash. Aluminum diamond plate floor pans installed in both footwells.

The SMG is great on the track. Lightning fast shifts. No heel and toe required. Computer does it for you.

The car is in great condition. Only 40,000 mi. Color is Carbon Black Metallic. Over $35,000 in mods.

Asking $32,000. Spare wheels, rotors and tires also available.

The market for track cars is very limited regardless of how much you invested to make your car safe and perform better. Also the track season is coming to an end, so who ever buys this won't be able to drive it until next spring unless they live in the south or CA.

I love your car, and I also have a M3 track rat in my driveway. I hope you find the right buyer. Good luck with the sale.

I assume you're getting DCT on your E92? If so you'll love it on the street and the track.

Thanks for the input Skierman. I know that not everyone wants or can afford a dedicated track car. And you're right about the value of mods. Probably worth about a third of new.

The cheapest way to outfit a car for the track is to buy one that is already done. I would love to do that with an E92 , but I haven't seen one yet.

And yes DCT is a must. That and the CF roof are the only requirements. The rest is irrelevant for my needs.

That is so true...that's why your car is a great deal, you just need to find the right buyer.

Jvitas - I just went through this same exercise a few months ago (see my post of ED for my AW/Carbon roof /MDCT (no other options) delivery last week). My track car was more street/track with full interior, etc than yours (although for me it was a dedicated track car). I found that the mods are worth about 20 cents on the dollar to buyers (about what I got for them vs. a stock oem car). Mine was an '02 with 31k miles 2-owner in pristine condition and sold for high-20's. Don't listen to all the low-ballers that will eventually come out of everywhere telling you how little your car is worth, it will take time, but you'll find the right buyer in mid-high 20's.

This is a great deal. Car is sorted out and ready for the track. Some work on the roll bar will turn it into a race car.

I would be all over this, but I currently want a dual purpose car that I can eventually convert to something like this. GLWS

I started out that way too. Kept making changes as my desire to go faster grew. Ultimately you have to decide whether to go all the way or not. A half and half car does neither well. I pulled the trigger and never looked back or regretted doing it.
Starting all over with a stock 2009 E92 M3 that I just picked up. Had there been an E92 on the market that was started by someone else I would have jumped all over it.
That's the case for buying a sorted out car. You can't beat the deal. My loss is someone else's gain.
