These really look great, how's the functionality? Please excuse these questions if they are duplicative, I will read this entire thread tomorrow. In short, are these Brembo refurbished calipers with an engineered/machined bracket to fit our M3's so that we can use our OEM rotors? Approx. how many M3 installs have there been? I assume not that many? So just send $2,800 to Poland and take a leap of faith that they will show up as advertised and fit as advertised? That's all good if I could get some more testimonials from the M3 Community.

The guy is by hands down the most honest bloke I talked to, you can ring him anytime and have a chat

He speaks fluent English

They fit perfectly and stop unbelievably well

They are fully refurbished second hand ones

And yes engineered brackets of the highest quality

Yes you can use oem rotors too

Mine arrived today....finally....aaaaaaaaannnnnnnd the UPS driver couldn't release them b/c they said I needed a cashier's check for $52.xx.....so he'll be back around tomorrow.

Would have been nice to know this *before* hand so I could've been prepared. For the record, once shipped, they took 4 days to arrive. For the record, also, they were slated as available on the website for Jan 3, and I ordered them in December. I'm patient about things, but shipping time/expectations weren't met, and on more than one occasion I spoke to Albert about this. He explained what was up, and was forthcoming, so not dinging him, just be aware. Not everyone will have the same experience; I'm just relaying mine.

That all being said, Albert has truly been very responsive, very informative, and up front about things when scheduled shipping dates were missed. Part of this is that I rec'd the near V2 rear setup martymil mentioned. I would say to give him a good 2 months lead time when placing your order. Hopefully those times will be trimmed as he gets more business, but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate.

I'll get pics up tomorrow before I disassemble them and ship them out.

It was Christmas and New Year's time. We had to finish our 2nd generation rear setup (as you requested for your setup). 2nd gen setup with new pads fully covers rear rotor now.

Normally it takes 10 work days from the order to shipping.

Here new front sets (green -> 1M Germany, white -> whats77inaname on here, red -> M3 customer in Italy)

1) If I placed an order today, how many days until they showed up at my door? 2) What is the warranty?
3) do you have an inventory of them ready to go, or do you have to wait to get a set to rebuild from your source?
4) what is the exact brembo part number of the calipers?
5) do you provide closer up pics of each item before you ship?

When I got the box and started unpacking, it was a chore, in a good way. Everything was packed *really, really* well, with lots of Styrofoam and plastic bubble wrap around pretty much everything. The calipers themselves were in individual boxes, each in bubble wrap. Each box was labeled individually with what each box contains so there is no guessing what's what.

I'll admit I had some reservation about how everything might arrive given it was coming from overseas, but as you can see, there's was nothing to worry about.

It'll be a few weeks before I install them.

Have to disassemble them for painting and then ship them off. It'll be a bit *lol*, but I will.

This is similar to what it should look like

This is an oem Porsche caliper with a stock oem pad adapted to our rotor
I really want to pull the tigger on a set of these, I just need someone to talk me into it!

Couple things,
1) Any picks of the new rear set up, because this contraption (in the attached pic) isn't going to work for me?
2) With the new rear set up is there a clean sweep of the entire rotor, I don't want any rust streaks/rings?
3) Same with the fronts, is there a clean sweep of the entire rotor?
4) My main question is fitment, when I take this kit to my shop, is it going to be easy fitment? I don't want my guy to get half way through the job and find out they don't fit, or there is a special bolt/nut that is not included.

Somebody talk me into this and I'll buy!

From what I know the front is pretty dead on for fitment. As for the rear the v1 was not that good, he updated to a new version and it is suppose to be better now. Send him an email

The kit fits perfectly, no doubt about it and everything you need comes in the kit if you buy the complete setup

Can't comment on the new rear kit as mine will be here in about 3 weeks inc shipping to Australia

If you want to wait I'll post some new pics when it comes

Thanks for the info., much appreciated. As I collect quotes for BBKs, these are looking better and better. Not thrilled about the whole overseas part of this.

Are the white calipers anywhere close to matching alpine white?

They're not bad, but I just needed them white as I need a white basecoat. I can get you a pic later if you'd like?

there is one problem with white, pull a few high speed stops and they wont be white for much longer, but that's also with any color.

My Jeep SRT factory calipers went brown rather quickly but Alberts painted calipers are still red and thats with a few high speed stops and the pads where smoking a little

Lets see how long for.

I agree it was just a thought as I have seen other alpine white m3s with white brembos.
