I think you'd have to replace the seat with something thinner/lower-profile. Perhaps normal 3-series seats? It could be me but I feel as the I sit lower in the 335i than the M3. But that could also be due to the fact that they are different body styles.

i'm totally the opposite. i feel much lower in the m3 than in my old 335i. i think that is because the m3 doesn't have a sunroof.

Also keep in mind too that I have a E93 which has the Euro seat bottoms. They are thicker than the US-spec E90/E92 M3 seat bottoms which are identical to those in the regular 3 series. Of course its not clear that this actually effects the height of the seating surface, its just a theory.

Also, I am assuming that although you are in Germany, you have a US spec car. If that's wrong, then scratch everything I just said.

Same here...I have the seat as low as it will go - but it still feels as if I'm sitting up pretty high...much higher feeling than my 535. I wonder if seat tracks (where they bolt to the floor) have any adjustment - probably not though.

Could it be guys that its not the seat but the whole car that has you thrown off? The 335i DOES sit lower than the M3 (been discussed a bunch on hear) so maybe its the actual car sitting lower that might be contributing to the feeling of sitting lower in the 335i?

Cheers,
