Tire Size Recommendation Help

Need new summers for my BBS LM's. Lowered on Eibach springs. Here are the specs.

Front: 19x9.5 et32 (run 10mm spacer)
Rear: 19x10 et25 (run 5mm spacer)

Let me know what you think.

Look at the tire specs for the M3 GTS, 255 front and 285 rear.

I vote 275/275 or 275/285 (although you may need a 5mm spacer instead of 10 up front to avoid rubbing).

This is a tough one... I would definitely not run a 255 on a 9.5" wheel. I like the idea of 275/30 front and 285/30 rear. I also think 275/30 front and rear is a good option. You could run a 275/30 front and a 275/35 in the rear.

Thanks all. Slicer - are you thinking 255 on a 9.5 isn't enough? My current setup is 245/35 and 285/30. I wanted to check opinions before just reordering this setup.

wow - I wouldn't have thought about going up to 275 in the front considering I was running 245. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes a 255 is too narrow for a 9.5" wheel IMO. It will be stretched. I guess some people like the stretched look but I would go with 275's on a 9.5" wheel (and have done so on my last few sets of wheels).

265/30/19 and 285/30/19, or 275/30/19 and 285/30/19. Anything wider than a 285 will not have necessary sidewall support on the 10" wheel and will cause the tire to bubble.

Thanks guys. I will go with 265/30/19 and 285/30/19 or 275/30/19 and 285/30/19. Not sure why 245/35 was used before maybe for rubbing reasons with the 10mm spacer? Is a 35 profile better for the front?

Thanks - looks like the PSS don't come in 285 so will need to try another tire brand
