When I have to park next to a car, I always examine their door jams. If they have scuffs (or as is all too common, other cars' paint) on them, I will get back in the car and try to find another spot. |

I take precautions to park far away too, but man, many of you take it to a whole new level! Retaliation for a door ding?! Life's short, dings happen. Find a good shop to repair them, and resume sleeping at night.

Ask me what colour the vehicle was that nuked my mirror cap. At least it was a good excuse to get CF replacements. I also now fold the mirrors. |

Looks like you didn't move too far up the ladder as you still have time to post on the forums at nearly 1am on a Sunday night. Hope you were at the office bright and early to set a good example for your minions. OP - I guess the theme of this thread has turned into "try harder in life". What do you think? |

I drive an SUV 80% of the time as my daily and this doesn't happen but for some reason it seems to happen when I drive the M3, does that mean people do this on purpose?

Just show up 10-15 minutes earlier and you'll have access to all the good spots. My coworkers consistently complain about the parking situation every morning yet they absolutely refuse to show up a couple minutes early to claim a good one...

I get to work at 8am when the parking lot is almost empty. I always manage to get the corner spot with no one to my right. But no matter what I do there is always some moron that parks too close. It's always a different person too. But hey what are you gonna do? Can't control what happens unless I stay posted next to my car all day but then I wouldn't have a job.

Funny - compared to some of the people who drive into my work in their Lexus's and 4wd Range Rovers - the M is quite compact Somone like me would walk by and laugh , but I can imagine a hybrid driving hippy getting his hemp jocks in a twist about it. what do you do for a living where there is 2 M drivers??? |
