BMW car cover
Any one use this before?
http://www.amazon.com/BMW-Genuine-Fa.../dp/B00337659M Thought about purchasing one for indoor use during winter months. Any concerns about micro-scratches? |

The BMW ones are rebranded Covercraft Noah covers. For indoor use, I've use Bavarian Autosport and Covercraft with no issue. Just make sure your car is clean before covering and scratches shouldn't be a concern.

I have this - Covercraft, custom with Weathershield HP. If your in a windy area, think about getting their "Gust Busters."

Its a great cover. I use it both at work after dusting the car off with a car duster as well as at home.
Even if the car is slightly dirty using the duster has kept the car from getting scratches. More importantly I don't have to worry about sap, bird crap, or other environmental concerns. Just be sure to keep a good coat of wax or synthetic sealant. At home during our last quake... It's more than paid for itself because it is thicker. |

I'll give the CoverKing Silverguard Plus (has a soft felt liner) a big thumbs up for outdoor use. Reflects all the UV and sheds any dirt easily (can be washed on the car just like you would wash a car). Mine has spent a hundred days on the car at work and the car and the cover look like new other than some tire marks on the inside of the cover's soft liner. This material is like Teflon when it comes to bird droppings and such. A little bulkier than Evolution 3 type covers, but the Silverguard doesn't shed fibers on your car as it gets used for a while. The standard Silverguard without the liner can micro-scratch your paint, so it's worth a little extra to get the Plus model.
