ATF 4400 in DCT

Tabarn...

So it seems my DCT was filled with 'ATF 4400 type' oil before I picked it up from where I bought it... That was 800km ago.

No need to point out the obvious about me not doing due diligence....

Do I need to flush it? Or just change the oil? What about the residual ATF fluid once I change the oil?

Should I park the car until the DCT fluid change?

Thanks,

One concerned owner...

Dude, haven't checked what that oil is but had mine in for a DCT leak recently when BMW put in manual fluid.

Ended up with a brand new box, cooler and pipes. I'd suggest you watch your case closely here bro.

Keep us posted!

Ps. I didn't notice any slips or issues during the 3 days i drove before realizing their mistake but you want the correct fluid in to have a safe future. The hardware only was 15k Euro over here, with a pile of hours coming on top.
