I don't like the non-linear response of the E92 M3 "normal" setting, its slow at the begining then speeds up. Sport seems more of a typical non electronic cable feel. Sport+ is just too quick, I think it hits 100% throttle open by 75% pedal travel.

it's for people who want to still think "power" button means +100 hp

Actually, I use Sport sometimes, it allows easier rev-matching on a 6MT

My car has always done this when cold though I found decreasing the oil viscosity (0w40 for winter) significantly improves the problem. With a combination of heavier oil and colder ambient temperatures, the problem gets worse.
