BMW Performance Center gear!

Hey guys, just found this on eBay and thought it's pretty cool because I've never seen this kind of BMW gear available online or at a BMW dealership before. Anyone know where to get this other than this auction? That helmet looks sweet! Looks like it's from the BMW M School at the Performance Center.

See if they'll let you phone-order one from the gift shop.

It's cool, but just buy a (better) helmet and have it custom painted. I suppose you could do vinyl, too. You'll probably save money, have a better helmet, and have something custom.

I'm going to have my Shoei done in BMW and ///M livery.

Yeah, it's like $3,600 to go to the M School as they don't give them out for the 1 day, only the 2 day! Kind of a lot to pay to get this gear!

Yeah, not my size either. But I'm thinking maybe I could get it and then just call the BMW PC and trade it for another size.

As mentioned above, just find a helmet you like and have it custom painted.

You get a lot more from the 2 Day M school than just gear. Having just gotten back from the 2 Day school 2 weeks ago, I can tell you it's worth every penny. The helmets are worth about $600 from what the instructor told me, with the cost mostly in the custom paint job. You can't this helmet outside of taking the 2 Day school.

BTW, join the BMW Car Club of America ($48 for a year) and you get 15% off any BMW driving School.

No, I'm pretty sure you have to have attended the 2 Day M School to get one.
(based upon my having attended ... )

Actually, it's a very good helmet. If you have the chance to attend the school, you'll find out that BMW didn't cheap out.

If you have BMW do it then you'll have the correct colors, avoid trademark issues ... and get a good driving education thrown in.

That last part is worth way more than any helmet.

The helmet itself costs BMW almost $600.00. The paint is even more, in addition.

+1
The helmet is an extra perk of doing the school, and was worth the money to learn on someone else's car and tires. I've been using my helmet for the last three years, and people still ask where I got it.
2 day M school w/ BMW CCA discount
