I thought about this swap before I bought the all red ones and honestly not a fan of the orange. Too Chevy/ Ford looking for me. Orange is old school from way back in the day and not a fan of it on a modern looking car.

I think both look ok... it's just the fact that red is stock so people want the opposite. If we had amber there'd be a few out there that swap to red.

Back in the day everyone was running from amber anything.

Looks ugly IMO but hey it's your car and not mine. If US spec cars came with ambers to begin with and the euro specs were red, you'd probably swing the other way.

No I didn't change them just to be different from everyone else. The first time I saw an LCI M3 signaling with amber lights, I thought it was really slick. It's really unexpected.

I've gotten countless compliments on the amber lights when friends follow me in a car behind. And this is without them ever knowing I changed them. The tail lights are red, they just blink amber. Not sure how you can say they look ugly.

I agree it's so cool and unexpecting. Plus it's more clear to see compared to us spec.

Back in the day, we ran from ugly orange painted taillights that were an eye sore. These are entirely different in that they're completely red and just flash amber. Very cool in my opinion. I want some for my pre-lci.
