Will -

New to the forum and reading a lot. You're in a lot of the posts and seem real straight up. Quick question, if you don't mind. I've been looking to get back into an M3. With the new model year, that advanced things, and now with the finance opportunities, well, the time is right. One problem, I've got 6 months left on my lease. Deal killer? Can wait for '09s and deal then, but exploring opportunities.

Thanks.

You can get out of your lease... when you trade-in, you will (most likely) have negative equity. Say your trade-in is $25k but you have $30k to buy off your lease. Well, they can add the 5k difference to your new car... so you don't have to wait until closer to your lease end.

But at that point - does the cost saving of the financing make sense when you are burying 5k? =)

Yup--got my coupe from Will over the weekend. It was a great experience. Will was fair and upfront--so we were able to cut through all the normal BS when negotiating pricing.

Will post pics when I get a chance!

Hey Will,

Thought I might as well tap your expertise to help negotiate a deal. What is lowest you'd go below MSRP on an ordered 09 sedan with DCT? Thanks in advance

If you can wait until the last week of dec 2008 I predict M3 sedan/coupe will be $10k off MSRP, verts $15k plus the 0% financing. There are still 1700+ new 2008 M3's on autotrader. Dealers will have no choice but to sell at a loss with 2009's rolling in on a daily basis. IMHO.

+1

i don't know about 10k off MSRP. but i think it will definitely be a significant discount.

Oh what fun!

Just got home from picking up mt better 1/2's E92 AW DCT from Will. About as simple a deal on my end as I've ever had. We figured the deal with no BS, made flight arrangements, and was picked up at Long Beach Airport in a sweet M5

Prior to flying down, Will called to let me know the MF dropped quite a bit and the lease payment was going to be significantly lower

We we're probably only at the dealership for a bit over an hour getting everything in order, going over some delivery crap, and finishing the trip tag to get us out of CA without any problems.

That was just the beginning of the fun. From that, it was three amazing days from SoCal, up the coast through Big Sur, onto I5, and then some great back roads into Washington

So glad to hear that you did not let one of our local dealers rip you off. I hope you are enjoying your car.

If you are really are getting a 78k M3 for 63k - and you aren't happy with that number - and are trying to get a better deal - then quite frankly, you're retarded

Yeahhhhh I’m waiving the BULL $HIT flag on this one. Even if you get EVERY single option offered by BMW the MSRP only comes to $73,670 (before GG, Destination, etc), so where is the extra $5K coming from Additionally Like Will said, you’re “getting $15K” off and your fight for an extra $3K
