4th Gen iPod Nano and 08 iDrive

Curious if anyone knew 100% for sure if the newest iPod Nanos (those are 4th gen right?) were compatible with 2008 iDrive? Does it use the same size connector as the old ones and the current iPhones (aka the Y-cable that comes with the car).

I have the latest Nano with the y connector and 08 iDrive. All works perfectly.
