E92 M3 or wait for M4 coupe

Guys - i am having trouble deciding to either order E92 M3 or wait for M4 coupe...

Currently I am driving 2011 550i which up from lease (in June 2013)..

should i wait until let say next Feb and put the order for M3 and let dealer take my current 550i w/o penalty or wait for M4?

thanks
Nick

Seeing as the M4 is still years away and anything known about it is mainly speculation I would go for the M3.

Go with the M3 in February, especially if you are going to lease. Life's too short. By the time the lease is up on the M3, the new Ms will be available.

Like others have stated. I would go with the new M3 now and get the new one when it comes out later on in the future

I agree with the expressed sentiments. My only regret with my E92 is that it is an 08. I missed out on some nice upgrades. I plan to buy the M4/3 in the last production year.

Definatley current M3 (probably the last naturally asp V8 M3). Go with the M4 a few years after the bugs are worked out if you still want one. But I'm sure you won't want to part with your new M3 anytime in the near future. Just my 2cnts. Good luck

E92 M3 all the way. Way too long to wait, and if I didn't have one already I wouldn't hesitate at all getting a 2013. Magnificent machine.

Grab a current M3 while you can. This V8 is magnificent, it talk's the talk and walk's the walk. I'd also wait at least 2-3yrs into the build of the next generation before jumping.

I was mulling this over and just decided to get the current M3 for now. I'll hang on to it and decide whether I want an M4 when I see the final product.

Hey OP -

Since you're local if you wanted to check out the m3 without a dealer harassing you let me know via pm and we will setup a time.

Especially if you don't want a 1st year model. See oil issue with '13 M5, Rod bearing in 1st year E46 M3's, detuned motor in '95 M3, smaller Nav and old headlights in 2000 M5.
