Need front tire advice

Hi,

I'm currently running 19x8.5 ET30 front (no spacer) and 19x9.5 ET35 rears w/ 12mm spacer. My current tire set up is 255/35 front and 275/35 rear. I am getting new tires and the 255/35 fronts are out of stock. What is an alternative front set up that will work? 245/40? Any advice out there?

Thanks

Why not use the OE tire size 245-35-19? 245-40-19 overall diameter is to big at 27.1 you will have issues!

Good idea but will there appear to be more wheel gap with the 245s vs the 255s? Trying to avoid that as I am not going to ever lower the car.

Would 265/30 work?

265-30-19 wont work your front rim doesn't meet the minimum diamter to safely mount this tire. Plus the overall diameter of a 265-30-19 is 1/2 inch smaller difference than 255-35-19 so it will show a bigger gap.

OK. So i guess the 245/35 is the way to go if I can't get a 255 somewhere.

265 is simply too wide for the 8.5" fronts.

They usually have rim width range of about 9~10" width rims
the 245/35-19 will be perfect.
If you'd like, try the RE-11 which would be a little square and nice if you are worried about width and gap.

Some tires will have tread width that is wider than others.
