APEX Race Parts - ARC-8 Rotary Forged Concave Wheel Set for BMW

Presenting the ultra light, yet affordable one piece rotary forged APEX ARC-8 Wheels. These wheels already come in E9X M3 specific widths and offsets, so no spacers or fender adjustments will be required.

They are made to clear BBKs standard and utilize a rotary forged inner barrel - this manufacturing process provides an exceptionally light weight wheel for a concave mesh design. These wheels are fully VIA and JWL certified with a load rating of 1550lbs.

- Comes with carbon-look APEX center caps
- Accepts OEM Roundel center caps
- Install using your factory lugs or a stud conversion
- Accepts wheel spacers including 5mm thickness, while remaining hub-centric
- OEM TPMS compatible

Rotary Forged / Flow Formed Cast - Technical Information
This specialized process begins with a low pressure type of casting and uses a special machine that spins the initial casting, heats the outer portion of the casting and then uses steel rollers pressed against the rim area to pull the rim to its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning create a rim area with the strength similar to a forged wheel. During Flow Forming, the pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. The resulting grain structure within the alloy of the wheel is linear, flowing in a single direction.

Finishes Available:
- Hyper Silver
- Anthracite
- Hyper Black
- Satin Black

My buddy wants a square set up for his 1M. Do you know if 18" x 9.5" with a 265 or even a 275 tire will work? He wants the ARC-8 wheel.

Thanks!

The 1M should have the same fitment spec as E9X M3. So a 18x9.5 or 18x10 square with 275/35/18 should fit with minimal issues.

I have not tried it personally on the 1M so I cannot guarantee but we have fitted 285/35/18 square on 18x10.5 HRE R40s on E92 M3 before with some minor fender work.
