quality check
Last week i were going to take delivery when i got a call "the car didnīt passed the quality check and the delivery will be defered"
 Did anyone here had similar problems? Any idea how long it could take? afaik the car will be send back to the factory and the bad components will be exchanged in the reverse way of production. |

I just took delivery of mine at the PCD in SC and I did get a carbon copy from BMW in my binder with Quality check completion steps and check offs. Seems that they check a whole litany of functions and electronics and if any of them fail then they sent the car to the quality section of the line to fix. Not sure if that means the factory or not. Probably means the VPC as they are authorized to fix most repairs including factory items on the cars. Sorry about that...hope u get your car soon.

Although it sucks that your delivery will be late, its a good thing defects were caught now. The quality on these new Bimmers is really superb IMO.....

Mine waited a few days after production completed as well. It's better they get it there rather than when you are 40 miles from civilization.
