Exhaust question: Supersprint Xpipe + Test Pipes

Hey,

So I have an exhaust leak and thought I might as well upgrade my exhaust. I already have ACM test pipes and had a Gintani Sport axle back with it but it was just to crazy of a setup to run on the daily. Any thoughts on how a Supersprint catless X pipe would sound matched with the ACM testpipes and stock muffler? I can't find any videos either. Any advice would be awesome

Not great in my opinion, too metallic, like an empty can.
better go either with a resonated x-pipe, or a straight x-pipe with resonators on the front pipes.

Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly, but with a Supersprint Xpipe. you wouldn't have your ACM TP anymore.

expected the oem rear section to quiet it a little more

If i'm not mistaken, X pipes delete the secondary cats, while test pipes/front pipes delete the primary cats. So since i already have test pipes, there wouldnt be a need for the front pipes. Hopefully I'm correct on what i just said lol

No, an Xpipe replaces everything. The start of an x-pipe is exactly where your test pipe is, and goes all the way to where the secondaries end. It's 1 long piece.

So for example if you are getting a full race x-pipe, it deletes all the cats.

Not the Supersprint. It only removes the secondary cat, and retains the primary.

The test pipes won't mate properly to the aftermarket X-pipe. They aren't nearly long enough to reach. Look at the Supersprint cat deletes for reference.

My guess is the test pipes won't mate properly to the aftermarket X-pipe.
Yeah exactly. There would be some modification necessary to combine them together but it isn't that drastic of a job
