M-DCT is a duel clutch gearbox, similar to the ones that audi uses in the A3, this will have a manual (with paddles) and auto modes much like SMG2, the benifit of it will be that the power will always be to the wheels, you won't lift the throttle like in the manual and SMG... this is speculation the true thing won't come out for probebly around a year

i dont lift when i change gears in my M5

ya but the computer does for you, the M-DTC the next gear will already be selected for you
