BMW Performance Seat Photo Gallery thread

I'm thinking about picking up a pair for my E90 sedan and it seems there is very limited info on these seats in general

Looking for pictures of these in E90/E92 m3's ~ I've seen most of the pictures from EAS but looking for actual owners who have these in their rides.

Does it affect rear leg room, driving height and real world feel info would be great!

thanks

Correct, BMW Performance Seats are in black/white stitching only.

Must be custom work then, I would love to have a set with yellow inserts but if I'm going to do custom upholstery then might as well just get some Recaros.

They look better than stock, but are they comfortable? I've obviously never sat in one.

Are any modifications needed to make the airbags and heat functional on both seats?

Very nice. What are the weight savings per seat over stock?

EDIT - found it:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135122

FRONT SEATS
Stock: 62.6 lbs each (weighted by Sam@AutoTalent)
BMW performance bucket seats with side airbag: 25.3 kg each (55.7 lbs) (weighed by BMW-M-Mexico)
CF aftermarket bucket seats: ?
Cost: $5000
Weight savings: 13.8 lbs
cost/benefit: $362.3/lb

I'm 6'1", 220. How big is too big to fit comfortably in these? I'm comfortable in the stock seats, but I've got the bolsters all the way open.

Very comfortable seats for daily driving, heated, drove 6 hours straight and no lower back ache, real nice seats.

Coding is needed to retain airbag functions, which we can provide. Unfortunately, dealerships cannot code these for you.

For those wishing to retain heated seats, a separate wiring harness is needed.
