Skidpad ring of fire!

I was out at Willow Spring mid-week on a worn out set of RS3. Decided to hit the skidpad with m3post member dogbone to work on my car control skills and finish that set for good. I was trying to keep a constant drift around ... not as easy as it seems, specially on a setup meant to grip! But still managed to get it eventually . Made a ring of fire with all that tire smoke... check it out!

Thanks for the support I think I had more fun on the skidpad than on track that day.

I showed the video to my wife... she thinks I'm crazy and going back to my teenage years, I'm fine with that

Now, let's see if I can do the same on track around a corner... that remains to be seen.

Nice! Great sounding exhaust, by the way. What are you running?

This made my day....I only got 4 hours of sleep, so not much was needed to perk me up at work. Now it needs to warm up here in Boston so I can start driving mine!

Sweet, I love the skid pad! You should try it in a fully up-armored suburban.

I love the intelligent tire management by going in both directions! LOL! Smart driving!

The smoke also allows you to see how the spoiler channels the air of the back of the car.

I could never get the hang of drifting the car on a skid pad until my third session...once you start feathering the throttle and letting the steering wheel rotate on its own a little, it seems much less panicky and more controlled...and then it was fun and I couldn't stop!

Not your typical setup... I'm running Fabspeed x-pipe with HFC and resonators paired with Dinan muffler. I really like it

Yeah, not as easy as it sometime looks. Like you said, you have to let the steering wheel rotate a bit on its own and feather the throttle carefully. Once you get it, it's hard to stop... too much fun
