I take no offense to the comment, that's his opinion. But TheTech is always giving his opinion on my threads and they're never in my favor..lol no biggie though

No problem. I installed the hood myself, that might be why lol.

Also, you should call Ryan at Evolution Auto Concepts - 972-898-9771.

They are having a video shoot for the shop and are looking for some M3's in the Dallas area to be in it for some cool shots.

The customers in the video are an e36, e46, a bunch e92's. They're wrapping a Ferrari in Gold Chrome, 5 series in Black Chrome, 1970 Ford Mach 1 in Frozen Grey, and a bunch of other cool stuff going on.

They wrapped her up in Matte White, switched out all the chrome pieces with carbon fiber, powder coated the ZCP rims, painted the brake calipers two tone red and black, installed a Vorsteiner Hood... and a Gintani exhaust! I love the outcome! They are giving me a pretty good price on a supercharger install so I might get that done as well.

What do you guys think?

The "before" picture is much nicer to look at IMO.

I give you props on the work put in to make the car what it is. If you did the work yourself over paying for it, even more so. I know the labor involved and it's not easy to do. If the car is what you want then don't ask people for opinions, you'll never please everyone. Do what you want to do and make it YOU.

It's not my cup of tea but that's my view. On the up side to me, one less sparkling graphite metallic E92 on the road makes mine more rare! lol.

Enjoy the car!

Hey OP.. EveRyone saying SG all the way, does not own SG!! I applaud your effort... I have SG and the color gets boring sometimes. You want to see the curves more defined on your M.. With SG the cars blends in with the sorroundings a bit too much... I hope this makes sense... Fix the hood and keep it up man!.. I like the changes.. You can always go back.

You don't have SG. SG is space grey. You can sparkling graphite, which was only available in 2008.

OP has a post-LCI space grey.

Also, I prefer the before...just like everybody else.

I agree with some of the others, hood fitment definitely doesn't look right at all. I would contact the seller about that and get it right, with all the money you spent I'd hope they would fix it for you.

I though SG standed for sparkling graphite!! The colors are very similar regardless! So it still blends in too much with the surroundings!

Thanks for the correction.
