are tuners the only ones who can code the cold start removal?

wanted to disable this feature but not get a tune.

Why do people dislike this feature? I love it, I wish my car sounded like it all the time. Love that loafy idle.

Yes, can only be done in the tune.

Or you can always unplug the pump

Mike, just out of pure curiosity, if the cold start is coded out with a tune, can the pump be then removed from the engine area?

Yes it can. It will require a couple extra tune tweaks, but this isn't a problem. You'll also want to make sure that the lines going to it are plugged/sealed to ensure there are no leaks in the system.
