I love that the challenge race is becoming more and more rare... At this point I hope the molds never work out ever again

Is this one new? Where did it come from?

At least you would get the diffuser you want. All signs point to them never making this item ever again.

I've been in contact with Greg and he has rejected several molds. The latest mold he approved and is in production for its first run. At this point, I'm going to buy the 1st CF 2x2 challenge diffuser that comes my way, be it new or used.

I'm thinking of changing things up a bit... There is a painted black one for sale right now. Is that the same one you sold a while back? I'm thinking of molding it into the rear bumper and painting body color... But I'm not stupid enough to paint over the carbon fiber and limiting the audience. But if I could get my hands on one that's already been "limited" that might work

Isn't that the same story they've given for over a year?

I'm not sure the story to others, but to me, this is the 1st time he has told me he actually approved a mold. All other times, he's been telling me he hasn't approved the mold. I guess the change in story has me a little optimistic. But, yes, I do have some skepticisim still, which is why I am still on the hunt for one.

How would this 4x4 look with my 2x2 front lip (which i'm not changing) and my 2x2 roof? Out of place?

yup, same one. Good idea on buying a used one if you plan on molding it.

On the forum they've posted about issues with whomever makes it and finding a new place to make it, etc, etc.

As with any cf part, imo if they are not next to each other most people won't think too much about the difference in weave. At the end of the day though, if you don't wanna mix weaves, then you'll have to continue the search.
