Damaged/Chipped Rims

Just out of curiosity was wondering if people here were getting their rims chipped easily by road debris? Both rims on the rear are chipped and i can see its starting to crack almost. Do i need to get new rims or can they be fixed? (But the pic i uploaded doesnt look chipped compared to by other rim..this looks more like a curb rash but im not quite sure because i never scrapped my rims...) And if they need to be replaced, will the tire insurance cover for it?

Here are photos of the rear right rims. (Sorry for the bad pics...dark outside now )

A good rim/wheel repair shop can take care of that curb rash.

Look up simple wheel werks online and see the kind of stuff they take care of, and you will be amazed. I think you can get that taken care of, and they are in socal so that might be the best option for you. Hope this helps.

I haven't experienced that while driving daily, looks like another car might have kicked something up that clipped your wheel. It's possible, almost anything is possible with road debris.

I'd hit up Son Tran to fix those, I've seen his work firsthand, he does amazing work.

those are completely fixable. the thing is hyper colors are very hard to match via mobile repair. it comes super close just not perfect. an in house facility will match that 99.9%
