I'm selling my Arkym Aerosport Front Lip for SOLD. I removed it from the car today 1/8/11. I am selling because I think I want to try something that has brake ducts.

I ordered lip from PY Speed on 3/16/11 and installed it when my car had 559 miles on 5/25/11 (the day after getting car home from PCD). Today the car has 5274 miles on it, so the lip is pretty new.

As you may be able to tell, I'm super anal and take excellent care of my stuff. The lip has had three coats of wax applied quarterly (twice). I would give it a 9.5/10 since there are two or three pencil tip sized rock divots in the clear coat. There are no scrapes, cracks, or other issues. The lip is as close to new as you'll find.

It does fit pretty well. You need to make sure you get some pretty strong 3M adhesive tape. I did have to refit it several times before I found the right combination of tape and installation procedure.

I will ship in it's original box. I've found that Fed-Ex tends to ship large boxes a little less expensively, but it still won't be cheap.

Im sure you know this but you can pick that lip up for about $850.00 new. I am interested in a CF lip and am looking to buy within the next week. Truth is that I can get a lip that looks just like that for about $499.00 from JL Motoring. I know, I know, I know its not an Arkym however, lips can become damaged very easily and most people aren't looking to spend a whole heck of a lot on them just because of how easy they are to damage. All that being said are you willing to negotiate on the price? PM and let me know. Thanks.

I'm about to drop $1250 on a Challenge, so I guess that makes me a schmuck. I figure mint used lip, a new one is $850 retail plus $50 to have it shipped, I cover shipping at $50, and you are $150 less than retail. That's assuming we don't negotiate. All that being said, I'm absolutely open to offers. If I listed it at $500, people are going to say I'll give you $400.

As your signature reads, don't you already have one anyway?

I have had a lip on my S2000 for 110,000 miles with no damage. Unless one sucks at driving or hits something like a deer, I don't see why a lip wouldn't last the life of your of a car. But then again, the same people that curb their wheels probably eat up lips like candy.

That's what I thought it would be as well. I've shipped large boxes across the country via Fedex before for much less. I also assumed that since the total shipping weight is less than 10 lb. that I'd be safe. Dimensions for the box are 67 X 25 X 9. I also called a couple of freight companies. They were more.

OP, I apologize in advance if I offend you, but your pricing seems unreasonable.
The price you posted is about 90% of BRAND-NEW arkym lip shipped to people's doors.

I understand that your product is in very good condition, but it is STILL USED.
For an used item, you don't get 90% of the money back.... that's not how it works.

Only if that was the case, I would be buying all the aftermarket parts without taking resale value into consideration.

Anyway, that was just my thoughts. Good luck with sale.
