Question about OEM exhaust mod + No Resonators or Cats?

Noob question here- I currently have the OEM exhaust mod (perforated) and was wondering how to squeeze a little more volume out of it.

I've been told that removing the resonators with OEM exhaust mod yields some good sounds but does any have vids/ can confirm?

What about removing the cats and replacing them with test pipes? Would this be too loud with the OEM exhaust mod?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

test pipes will trip the check light and OEM mod and also be really loud!
It will also drone at ~1900rpm depending on what sort of OEM mod.

I was in the same position as you and decided to remove the secondary cats which ended up being perfect. It added a noticeable increase in volume and a more aggressive sound but still no drone. It does sound a little raspy however so if you hate rasp I would recommend leaving the oem mod alone.

I had ran the OEM exhaust mod with an RPI x-pipe catless... Long story short that thing was too damn loud, louder than my current set up RPI x-pipe with RPI GTM exhaust.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you have sound clip/vid? Would be really interested in hearing that.

Thanks in advance
