LOL. not sure if some of your share the same sentiment as myself but after owning an m3, i noticed that i hate owning a car that look too pretty.

i mean it is a pain in the ass and heachage anywhere you go. i can imagine with a pretty car like the turbo, it would be even more of a pain in public parking, pot holes, park somewhere late at night, etc.

this is why OP you should get the GTR. you can trash it and drive it anywhere you want without worry (cause it is almost half the price of the turbo). and it goes like a rocket and can match any hypercar out there. 2012 GTR in black or blue hands down. This is the beauty of owning the gtr.

How could you respect a brand that can't even make a car stop ie nissans 370z. A guy I knew in west Covina crashed into a wall cause his brakes in his NISSAN failed. Take a close look at the ugly fucking logo on the trunk of a gtr before you drop a 100k on it.

Disparaging the GT-R while openly admitting you drive a Prius is complete post fail...lol.

I use the prius to get to work and back. It's a great comfortable car and I only fill it up once every 3 weeks. It's very priusish.

The car is fast no doubt, but it's not fast enough to lose the Nissan logos stamped onto the trunk and hood.
Too bad you can't drive a badge.

btw, half of these responses sound like they're from "real" car enthusiasts that are obviously trying to compensate by saying that they have a "BMW". but not just any BMW, they have an M3! yeah! they think that the BMW badge will open doors for them and help them win friends and influence people. man, sounds like there's nothing really going on in your life aside from the almighty M3.

I agree ^^^^^^......it's not just BMW guys, though. Go visit the Vette forums, Porsche forums, MB forums, et al...you have them everywhere. Sometimes I just want to say that I drive a Toyota 4Runner.

The 2013 GTR is at the 'ring now, running laps. It will be really interesting to see the new time with the 40hp increase in power and 130 lbs diet.

Yeah it's gaining some power, estimated 20-40hp and some chassis tweaks, but there is no mention of weight savings that I'm aware of, at least for the standard car. I doubt it will shed that weight. The carbon fiber components you see in the pic (trunk/wing) are for a special track edition that may or may not be available in the states. We will get the official data at the Tokyo motor show. Nagtroc has a thread with some inside vids and pics, but again no details are confirmed.

I think you're reading too much into the jokes and the general asshattery of one person in the thread.
