And I still like the 18s - and if you're tracking, then no debate.

No 100% right answer except at extremes: reflect, see both, ideally on the colour you desire, then go w/ your gut.

If I'd selected Space, no contest: have to be 18s. With Jerez, really happy w/ 19s.
My wife also suggested that the 19's look much better.....But knowing me, she just knew that I was going to choose the 'meaner' looking 18's. heheheha

Ah hah Nawaaz, so your testicular heft is greater than my own - perhaps you are newly enuptialed?

I always thought 18's were the cheap ones...

the 19's are aggressive and sexy at the same time.

Let's see.....We've been married almost 2 yrs and still going plenty strong, and also with my baby girl who is close to turning lucky #1.

My wife wins at choosing almost every single thing, but when it comes to cars, I become extremely stubborn.....What can I say?

I thought the same way, but one of the only reasons that they may seem more expensive is because they are bigger and more shinier/chromier.

Once you get past the 'flashier' look of the 19's.......The 18's are brilliant looking in their own way.

and FWIW, I have the 18s (not 19s) for my winter/track use. I dread going to the track because I have to put those ugly wheels on.
I have to agree, I saw an M3 at the dealer with the 18s and it did not do anything for the car. I really like the wheels as is and then I found the BBS wheels and the car again looks great, unfortunately as is the case with a pair of shoes, one does get tired of "one look" and then desires a "whole new look".

Does anyone NOT agree with me?
I think your assumption that fewer 19's sold equates favored may not be valid. I don't think too many of us decide that our option taken during the ordering process is a mistake, and decide to sell it shortly after taking delivery and buying the other OEM wheels instead. I would agree with Footie that most likely reasons for more 18's on sell is because these owners planned for non OEM wheel replacement to begin with, therefore why pay extra for the 19's that will eventually be sold?

As far as favored OEM wheel, somebody should start a poll. It would be interesting!

True, probably the cars dealers bought for inventory also came with 19's. They like to sell stuff reasonably well optioned, better marins.

Well said man. When I settled on the Jerez / Fox combo, I just KNEW the 19's would look better than the 18's. The 18's would have made the car look far too dark -- and like I'd never cleaned the wheels

I think many people here are forgetting that there was a time last year (when most of us "early adopters" ordered our M3s) when the 19's were back-ordered. If you wanted an M3 with the 19's you either had to wait months for the option, or "settle" for the 18's. Those who just couldn't wait to get their hands on this 414hp V8 "settled" for the 18's.

It can also be (reasonably) implied that 19's were back ordered because they were (are) the more popular wheel. I think SlammedM3's poll illustrates that nicely.
