Smile My new plates arrived!

My personalized plate arrived yesterday. I had the standard Hawaii plate then went with a charity foundation plate and now I have this.

It's been my favorite "show" since I was a little kid.

Not many will get it... but I assume most of you in this thread are a part of affluent society so you will know.

You will notice my love for NY ... had to make a stop there for a souviner for the ///M.

I'm going to see my CA today to have my front plates installed. Don't want to, but the ticket is not worth it.

BTW, my baby is hella dirty but it still looks decent thanks to SS.

Well, I had to google the plate #, so I assume it's a reference to Sideshow Bob from The Simpson's?

LMFAO!

Sadly we in Hawaii have no other style of plate...

The Prius is to off-set the damage the M3 does to the environment.

I think the rainbow is on all the Hawaii plates, right? The Prius is to make the neighbors happy about the environment.

Prius is no better for the environment than the M3, trust me. As far as the front license plate goes, why not get one that screws into your tow hook? No need for holes.

Pop culture reference. What the heck does knowing this Les Miserable reference have to do with being part of an affluent society?

In Mensa there are many not so affluent individuals that have a knowledge base and intelligence that would put many rich people to shame.

Anyhoo, to the OP, congrats on the personalized plates! My SENNA1 plates are still valid from my NSX haha. It sucks bc we only can have 6 letters here

I can understand that. But in this particular instance, when I asked various demographics types about "Les Mis", only the upper-middle class and up knew of the Broadway Musical. All the others responded, "Huh?"

Maybe more know about it now since the movie was such a success. btw, imo, it was really good.

LOL! Thanks Integra.

And it does suck that we are limited to only 6 letters/numbers.

My other thought was to put "NSF" as a joke on my personal plate. But then I thought, only accountants, bankers, and those who suffer from NSF will understand.

the Prius thing was a joke., because someone called him out on it. The tow hook might keep holes out of the bumper, but imo looks terrible.

That's what I thought too! Just had them drilled. Eh, it looks ok. Good thing the M3 has the frame/bracket painted.

Oh I see! My bad.

Have you ever seen it in person? Doesn't look that bad to be honest and holes in the front bumper is the last thing you'd want, people don't like to buy cars with holes..

It does work for some. But I'm really OCD so I need it to be symmetrical.
