Help out as many people that I know who is in dire need of help financially, donate to charities, donate to foundations, help out as many people again, help fund schools, and invest on stem-cell research, etc.
I would then open a mutual fund, I would buy me a supercar, the Pagani Huayra, and save the rest for a rainy day/emergencies.

I would buy two M3s one to replace my current e90 and drive around, and one to keep in a garage for 30 years so I can drive it when I'm older and bring back all the memories of my young days

The reality of big money:
There is point after which more money gets you a lot more hassles. Remember, the more you own, the more you need to insure, secure and maintain. It is not so much the cost as the hassle factor. Also, there comes a point at which you are living so far beyond the overwhelming majority of even reasonably well-to-do people, that the world just isn't designed for you. Money does buy happiness....to a point. Beyond that, more is just more and not necesserily better for one's life. We all know that humans readily adapt to what they have and always want to move up to "the next level". If you make $100k/yr, you say "if I only made $200k". If you make $1M/yr, you say "if I only made $2M" and so on, and so on. Fantasy is always better than reality. As car enthusiasts, we always have those dream cars in our minds, but the reality of ownership is very different. Why do you think there are so many Lambos, Ferraris, Bugattis, Bentleys, etc. that are sold with only like 5000 miles on them over 3-4 years of ownership. These cars give you a thrill for a short while, then they still leave you wanting for something else. So....if I think about my real fantasy garage, it would be a reasonable group of vehicles that really serve my full spectrum of needs, including being actually able to drive my cars in the real world (how many Ferrari's do you see at kids soccer games?). There would be 4 cars between myself and my wife. Those cars would be: 1. Aston Martin Vantage (or equivalent) 2. BMW 550xi or Audi S6 3. Porsche Cayenne GTS 4. Toyota Tundra crew cab This is, by any standard, a nice collection, but has real world usability and is not over-the-top.
