355i VS M3 is old news. New talk of town = S4 > M3 :)
Saw this post on friend's facebook. For those who doesn't read Asian characters, the S4 guy is claiming
1) M3 0-60 = 4.8s. S4 (boosted V6) 0-60 = 3.9s 2) DSG tranny on S4 > DCT on M3 Last edited by samfisher; 08-26-2012 at 11:08 PM.. |

So the s4 is faster, so is a Ferrari. There's a million cars faster than the m3. Who cares, life goes on.

The S4 is the 335i equivalent. The audi match for the M3 is the RS4/5. |

Why does everybody compare their cars to the M3. Can we get an AMG or F instead?

M3 is not sluggish from a dig, it only requires good skills to get most out of it, especially if 6MT.
Whereas, an awd is so easy to launch

Exactly.
People who like to show off how much better their (lower performance) car is compared to [whatever] benchmark they're trying so hard to beat are just showing off their fragile ego IMO.

I own both. I don't see why the S4 wouldn't be compared to the M3.
1.) My tuned S4 is considerably faster than my tuned M3 in a straight line. 2.) I absolutely hate the DSG transmission. I should have done 6MT in both cars. |

If they are talking about a tuned S4 being faster than the M3, I can understand that... but you can say the same about a tuned 335i being faster than the S4.
In the end S4 = oversized, overweight, underpowered car that understeers like no other. The only good thing I can say about it is that it looks decent and the interior is nice. Performance wise .. lol |
