Good Deal? 2008 M3 CPO
Is this a good deal? I know it has high miles but at least it has a CPO. What should I be willing to pay? Thanks for the help.
2008 e90 <45,000 miles CPO, 6MT, Premium package, Technology package, premium sound, heated seats (no cold weather), rear parking "radar", no sunroof $43K |

With the CPO it's not a bad deal. I am sure you can do better, I would think $41k. If it wasn't CPO it would be about $35k so if you add in what the extended warranty and maintenance plan costs that is just about right. I would look for something with a bit less mileage though, should be able to get it for real close to the same price.

Any other thoughts?
After reading over the forum, it seems like similar vehicles are selling for for 40-41K without the CPO. Is this accurate? Also how much do you think the CPO adds to the value? Also, although the vehicle is CPO'd, it does not come with extended maintenance. |

CPO usually adds 2500.00 to a vehicle, if its BMW. The 2500.00 is usually tied to the BMW CPO program and I believe a pass-thru cost by the dealer, so they don't really discount it.
For a non-loaded e90, high mileage M3, it seems ok. Probably can do better on the private scene (don't know about 35k, seems someone is talking auction prices again) but the CPO is key in my mind. You would have anywhere of 2 years left on the original warranty and then the added 2 years with CPO. Having it will be a very good peace of mind policy. If you like the car, and it fits your budget, go for it, its not a bad deal.

I looked at two E90 M'S with similar miles and options (private sellers) one was $37k the other was $39k. The guy asking $37 would have taken $35 and the guy asking $39k said he would take $36k. People are desperate right now. I ended up with an 09' E92 M with 695 miles on it for $52k and had it CPO's for a grand total of $54,400. The E90's had a sticker in the mid $50's and mine had a sticker of $69k+.
