iDrive control surround lifting

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue? I only just noticed that the ring surrounding the iDrive control is lifting. Is there any way to fix this other than replacing the whole unit?

looks like has to be replaced. Only other thing I can think of it trying to see if you can glue it but doesn't look like it. If you replace it let me know, anything is better than a CCC controller

Mine did this. I had the dealer replace it under warranty.
