I think subframe bushings are great regardless, CMP’s lift the diff and subframe! I don’t think they’re overkill, just like everyone else’s bushings but add a bit more .

Just picked up my car from the shop after they finished all the rear subframe work and aligned. Fresh front arms/tie rods, monoballs, hotchkis sways, diff bushings and BW subframe bushings. Even driving at traffic speeds, you can really feel how much tighter the rear end is. Looking forward to the first proper drive.

So which subframe bushings do yall recommend? I've had this issue as well. I've got a 6spd and when power shifting the rear end feels a bit wobbly

I run (and sell) CMP’s subframe raising bushings with geometry correction. The spherical toe arm and Rear lower inner control arm bushing helps the issue too!

If you have any questions shoot me a PM!

link to the bushings here

I went with the Bimmerworld solid ones. Absolutely no detectable impact on NVH, and the rear end feels so much more planted and solid.
