M3 E90 Value..

Hi Guys,

I am net to the forum and planing to get a M3 with DCT,M-drive,EDC and other few options included for 135k. the car has done about 930 Kilometers.

I am just wondering is it a good deal and what sort of a depreciation we expect on the car after 3 years.

Is that 930km or 9300km? If 930km then 135k would be a bargain. I saw a 2009 E90 like mine with 21k go for about $125k here in WA a few weeks back. That was from the local BMW dealer. Hope that helps.

Be careful, find out if this is a Dealer Demo or a BMW corporate car. If it was a BMW car it MAY have been a BMW Driver Training car, though the k's do look too low IMO to be one of those.

By the way there is a E90 sitting in Rolfe BMW Canberra ATM, no idea about options or price but always worth a call if you are interested. Ask for Darren in Sales and tell him John (Canberra's only 1M owner) said to talk to him.

I enquired on Silverstone one through BMW Melbourne 2 days ago. They wanted 142880 Drive Away. They sent though an email with details on the car. Had 9300Kms 01/10 compliance and previously a BMW Driver training vehicle. I'd seen enough.

This is definitly 930km according to sales person.. Going to double check with them now, And not from bmw melbourne but south bank. Should I get someone to inspect?. How do I found about the it's been in a driver traning?. According to sales person its from bmw corperate fleet.

I will call canberra one too.

BMW Melbourne has two sites, one is Southbank, trust me that is where we picked up our 1M 5 weeks ago.

BMW Melbourne is Southbank...also how would you know if he's lying to you or not? It's not like you can tell if it's been flogged or not...then again, it will have warranty etc, so who cares? Unless you plan on keeping it past the warranty period?

You guys are right, south bank is one of their branches. Left a message to the salesman. Would a reputable dealership will lie about the car?. Now I am getting bit nervous.

Tell them you'll take it for $2 and in return will advertise their Driver Training program as you hoon about through Melbourne.

A small sticker of the program name on the back window will suffice I think.

lol I wouldn't put it past them...in my experience with the various local dealerships, the one in southbank is by far the worst.

Also Brighton BMW is owned by Bib Stillwell
